Class Description: This class is designed to help us know our Wesleyan heritage, our doctrinal beliefs and our understanding of how the Global Methodist functions. We will explore the life of John Wesley and others. Wesley’s understanding of sin, the Scriptures, his teaching regarding Bands and Societies. We will learn about the importance of the Sacraments and the importance of the clerical role when officiating the sacraments. We will obtain a clear understanding of Holiness according to Wesley and how that impacts our daily lives as Christians. Finally, we will explore cultural issues today, marriage, cross cultural churches and ministry, role of women as clergy and role of laity in the church.

Mondays:  Sept 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6, 13, and 20; 6-9pm. Delivered Via Zoom
