 iption: This class is designed to help us know our Wesleyan heritage\, our
  doctrinal beliefs and our understanding of how the Global Methodist funct
 ions. We will explore the life of John Wesley and others. Wesley’s under
 standing of sin\, the Scriptures\, his teaching regarding Bands and Societ
 ies. We will learn about the importance of the Sacraments and the importan
 ce of the clerical role when officiating the sacraments. We will obtain a 
 clear understanding of Holiness according to Wesley and how that impacts o
 ur daily lives as Christians. Finally\, we will explore cultural issues to
 day\, marriage\, cross cultural churches and ministry\, role of women as c
