SUMMARY:Fanning the Flame - 2025 Northeast Annual Conference
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Global Methodist Church is two years old and is the new
 est form of Methodism and is experiencing great growth around the world. I
 n the Northeast United States\, the Global Methodist Church includes 160 c
 ongregations over 13 states from Maine to West Virginia. This region offic
 ially launched in April of 2024 with a Convening Annual Conference to esta
 blish policies and appointments. The organization is now fully operational
  and is preparing for the first Annual Conference where congregants and le
 aders will gather to further the work of the traditional scriptural author
 ity movement. Reverend Steven Taylor serves as the Superintendent of the N
 ortheast Global Methodist Church and announced that the 2025 Annual Confer
 ence will be held from It’s May 8th -10th at Grace Christian Fellowship 
 in Cortland\, NY.\n\nThe Annual Conference is an important time in the lif
 e of the church as leaders and volunteers come together for prayer\, worsh
 ip\, administrative actions and planning for priorities. Reverend Taylor s
 hared\, “After many years of work\, we are now able to focus on further 
 refining our systems and strengthening our systems to support continued gr
 owth throughout the Northeast.” The theme for the 2025 conference is Fan
 ning the Flame and was inspired by the Bible Verse\, 2 TIMOTHY 1:6-8\, “
 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God\, which is 
 in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does 
 not make us timid\, but gives us power\, love and self-discipline. So do n
 ot be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rathe
 r\, join with me in suffering for the gospel\, by the power of God.”\n\n
